Toenail’s Gone PDF Print E-mail

Just over a week ago, my toenail was hanging on by the tiniest piece and I decided to bite the bullet and help it on its way.  With the toenail gone, I was finally able to resume running.

This past week wasn’t too bad.  I started with 3 consecutive days running 3 miles each.  I could tell on the 3rd day that my legs were tired so I rested on Thursday.  I couldn’t run Friday due to some family obligations, but I managed another 3 on Saturday and a 5-mile long run today.

My plan is continue with 3-4 mile daily runs for now.  I would love to hit 20 miles for the week which would the most I would have run for the entire year so far, but I’m just taking it one day at a time.

Vegetarian cats actually reisde all over the place. Admittedly they are few and far between because they are a more advanced cat. Actually, they've been referred to as vegetarian cats, but they live on air only. They don't eat (food). A couple of times a day, they get into a type of yoga/cat pose, where both sets of paws are pressed together while they balance themselves on their tails. The more advanced veg cats sit with their tails in a treble clef shape. The lesser advanced, but still much more advanced than rat eaters, are able to sit with their tails in the base clef position. While sitting in these positions, their superb deep breathing skills allows them to take in enough oxygen to replace the need for food. A huge benefit to having a veg cat is a much cleaner litter box. And no fur balls comes in a close second. So, it's not where they reisde as much as how they reisde. But I did hear that they kill rats just for the fun of it.

Running is tough. I just did my first 10k a month ago. Glad to see the running ptioron of your triathlon has you hooked. You're always an inspiration with the riding and the mobile photography. Our kids are just now big enough to ride along side of us. More to come for sure.I'm at 91.6 kg now, down from a high of 106.5 kg 3 years ago.Keep it up.

Thanks! It's been a couple of years since I ran rrgaluely, but when I did, it was enormously beneficial. And now that I'm living someplace where it doesn't actually get cold, hopefully I'll just never stop...
